Hierro History of Yeguada Triviño

Yeguada Triviño is a stockbreeding firm founded in1991 with mares from the original lineage of Oriol-Ybarra and Cañizares. For breeding purposes, Yeguada Triviño uses only studs of excellent lineage and quality such Andador VII
(source: Benítez-Cubero Pallarés) and Madrileño VII (from the original lineage of Viuda de Terry) our present stallion.

Some time afterwards, we reviewed our stock and removed those animals whose quality did not meet our expectations, at the same time adding three bay mares source D. Francisco Lazo

Above all in our Pura Raza Española horses, we strive to perfect the natural characteristics of this pure Andalusian breed, emphasizing its unique elegance of behavior, beauty, grace, congeniately, trainability and usefulness, with special attention paid to morphological characteristics, movement and functionality.

Our mares remain outdoors year-round, except for a week or so before giving birth and thereafter for 3 to 4 days, after which they are returned to pasture with their new foal.

At Yeguada Triviño the early training of our horses is made a priority in order to gain, with love and patience, these exceptional animals' trust and cooperation.

One and two year olds (both male and female) are stabled only periodically in order to achieve proper training and control; at the age of three, our horses (male and female) are saddle –trained and at age 41/2 to 5, carriage–trained
